Artist Sculptor-Caster

An art of synthesis is being developed, today, in my artistic search, everything happens as if I was trying to search in the depths of the material everything that gives its flavour and its “bulkiness” to the world to then lighten it, sharpen it. Down to the invisible…

As for material I use bronze that I melt and cast myself, half-precious stones…

I create the mould beforehand, without going through the intermediate steps. The mould can be made with clay, foundry sand, refractory plaster… then comes the cast, the deburring, the chiselling…

In the background of all this process, there is a deep and strong relation to nature. I’m fetching the energies that fuel my shapes and my most primitive thoughts.

There is, in my process of creation, a call from instinctive forces, archaic, in the very same spirit as the band Cobra from the 1950s, of which P. Alechinsky was a member.
